Spring is definitely in full bloom and I am loving the warmer temps. Today I am sharing 10 spring must haves all under $100. So what’s in for Spring 2016? Here are my favorite trends of the season.
OFF SHOULDER/ COLD SHOULDER: I bet we all can agree that the off shoulder trend was never really gone. I for starters always have loved that style on my body and even before it blew up this season, I have had the style hand sewn or have bought a few pieces in previous years. However, they are blowing up a whole lot this season and I praying they are here to stay. I love trends that are in for the long haul. Remember that it is important not to spend too much money on trendy items, that way you do not lose money when they go out of style.
STRIPES: We are going to be seeing more of this classic trend. Stripes never go out of style. Think leopard, grid and polka dot prints. They never really go away. If anything, I am loving mixing stripes with other prints. Do not be afraid to stock up on this print for they are here to stay!
LACE UP SHOES: A nice twist to the classic ballet flats and sandals. I love the edginess but chic look these flats/sandals give.
PRETTY PLEATS: I honestly do not remember the last time I wore small pleated skirts but I am oh so glad they are back. I find that items with pretty pleats give such a lady-like look. Go ahead and grab some pretty pleats in dresses or skirts. I am definitely going to be stocking up.
BELL SLEEVES: Looks like the 70’s trend is going to be around for a while. I am not complaining because I loooove them. Pair them with your favorite jeans, pencil skirt or shorts. They are so much fun to wear.
FLORAL DRESSES: With flowers blooming, it is only appropriate we wear pretty spring floral dresses. They are always in heavy rotation each year and definitely a summer fave.
BLOCK HEELS: These are making a major comeback! Besides who wouldn’t want to be comfortable while wearing these? The block heels create such comfort for our feet 🙂
FLARED JEANS: Along with bell sleeves, I am loving these. It’s not like I will be tucking away my skinny jeans, I may just only be wearing these more this spring!
A COLORFUL BAG: A great way to add some spring to your closet is a pretty colorful bag. You do not have to buy more clothes, jut stock up on pretty colorful bags and you are spring ready!
SOCK BOOTS: I have a love/hate relationship with these, but I think I mostly love them. They are so not my style, but they definitely are growing on me. Maybe I just love the twist it has on regular ankle boots. Either ways, they are fun to wear and oh so perfect for rainy days!
