Dubai Dubai!!!! We didn’t want to leave this beautiful city. We obviously had an action packed itinerary and enjoyed them all to the fullest. With 3 nights in Dubai, we stayed 2 nights at the Conrad Dubai and 1 night at the Sheraton Dubai Creek. We loved both but the Conrad hotel had the most amazing buffet breakfast I had ever had. You must know that I am a foodie and wherever there is good food, be sure to find me there lol! Each hotel was in a different part of Dubai. The Conrad Hotel was much close to all the tourist attractions while the Sheraton Dubai Creek was closer to the airport, old Dubai and the gold souk. We wanted to experience bits and pieces of what this city had to offer.
Visiting the gold souk reminded me of our traditional markets back home in Ghana where bargaining is the norm. However, going into the tallest building in the world was definitely breathtaking and oh so beautiful. The fun part was viewing the Dubai fountains from up top- amazing! One experience we will hold dear will be visiting the most luxurious hotel in the world- Burj Al Arab. We made reservations to the Sky View bar and it was definitely some experience. I mean, you don’t always get to visit a hotel that has real gold everywhere even on the elevators. I for one couldn’t believe my eyes. Definitely a 7-star hotel. Oh and get this part, you are only allowed entrance to the hotel, only if you have a reservation or you live in there. Definitely an experience worth checking out! Enjoy!!!
